Here are the answers to some of the questions you may have about your stay at Deja Vu Estate.

What is included in the breakfast hamper?

Sourdough bread, local bacon, free range eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, a selection of fresh fruit juices, full cream and lite milk, a selection of jams and local honey. Cereals include freshly made muesli, Just Right, WeetBix, Uncle Tobys Oats and Corn Flakes. We also include a few other tasty surprises - freshly baked muffins and seasonal poached fruit. All breakfast items are waiting for you in your villa and we replace them daily. If you have any special requests please just drop us an email or call us and we'll look after you.

How big are the villas?

We often get asked how big the villas are. The under roof villa area is 98 square metres, the two recreational decks are each more than 40 square metres. This gives you a total of nearly 180 square metres of living and recreational space.

Can more than one couple stay in a villa?

No. Although the villas are extremely spacious they are purposely designed to only accommodate one couple.

Can we get a taxi or transport to restaurants?

The short answer is yes, however, taxis are a very expensive option. Instead plan ahead and call "All Around The Vines" on 0459 145 065. If booked ahead of time they will pick you up from your villa, take you to the restaurant of your choice and return you home after dinner or lunch. Most importantly at a very reasonable charge. What is 3G reception like?

If you're with Telstra it's good. Optus not so good, in certain areas you just get no service for your mobile or 3G. Other operators are as good or bad as Optus, it depends where you are in Pokolbin.
As far as service around DejaVu is concerned, it's pretty good for both Telstra and Optus. Remember there is a phone in the villa and all local, STD, national and mobile calls are complimentary. International calls are charged to you.
Complimentary WiFi is also supplied throughout your villa.

Do you charge for internet access?

A WiFi service is supplied throughout your villa to browse the internet, it is a complimentary service we supply for you during your stay. CHARGES apply for downloading large files ie TV shows, movies etc.

Do you cater for children?

Deja Vu Estate has been designed with high quality furnishings and fittings, the villas cater for only one couple, therefore children are not catered for.

What are your checkin and checkout times?

Checkin is from 2PM, we have a separate entrance to reception where you check in, this is the entrance with the mail box out the front, it is numbered 280. Please check in at the grey house at the front of the property, this is the second entrance, the villa is way down the back, very private for you.

Checkout is 10.30AM, again please return your key and finalise your account at the managers residence at the front of the property.

Where can you buy food nearby?

The closest supermarket is IGA at Branxton - IGA are open from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week.
The closest butcher is Branxton Quality Meats - across the road from IGA at Branxton.
If you are travelling through Cessnock on your way to Deja Vu Estate then Coles or Woolworths would be your best bet.

The Smelly Cheese Shop at Tempus Two Winery on Broke Road has a wide selection of food items as well.

Where is the closest petrol station?

If you're travelling from Sydney, Cessnock is the best place to buy petrol.
If you're travelling from the northcoast, stop off at Greta at the Shell and if you're coming through Singleton there are several on the New England Highway. Just make sure you stop before you leave Singleton city.

Remember, there are NO petrol stations within the vineyard area.

Is smoking allowed inside the villa?

The Villas are designated SMOKE FREE, smoking in the Villas incurs a $100.00 cleaning surcharge per day. If you do wish to smoke an ash tray is supplied for you to smoke OUTSIDE.

Are pets allowed at Deja Vu?

Deja Vu Estate is located on 35 acres of bushland with lots of trees and only boundary fences. Having said that we love animals so call us and we'll treat each case separately. We'll do what we can to let you bring your "other" member of the family.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes we do. We would love to help you with a gift certificate.

What is your cancellation policy?

All cancellations incur a $50 administration fee.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date forfeit 100 percent of the total tariff of each villa booked.
In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to rebook your villa. If your villa is rebooked at a reduced rate, the difference in the tariffs will be forfeited.
