Muse Kitchen, located at the new Keith Tulloch Winery on Hermitage Road Pokolbin, is the newest venture for husband and wife team Troy and Megan Rhoades-Brown of Muse Restaurant and Café. Piggs Peake is a very interesting little winery. Since winemaker Steve Langham took the reins in 2003 it has rapidly become known as one of the wineries to watch in Australia. Huon Hooke describes it as “one of the most talked about young boutiques in the Hunter” and for good reason with fellow reviewers like Franz Scheurer and James Halliday ranking wines like Semillon, Cabernet Merlot and Zinfandel in the top few that Australia produces. Ask to speak to Steve or Robert, they'll look after you.

Tintilla Estate is for everyone with a love of food, wine and family. The winery cellar door has that wholesome family warmth that keeps people returning. A truly unique experience, at Tintilla you can take a seat across the table in their tasting room and sip from a large Riedel glass eating fresh bread with rich olive oil and biscuits to nibble, all whilst looking out over the magnificent rolling vineyard.

A small, private, family owned vineyard ''Mistletoe'' is located in the beautiful Hermitage Road area of Pokolbin, an area that over many years has become renowned for the quality of the wines it produces. Mistletoe produces a range of extremely limited premium table wines that are sold exclusively from their cellar door. Add great views and friendly, knowledgeable service and you will understand why Mistletoe is a must see.

Fourth generation family member and Managing Director, Bruce Tyrrell heads this winemaking company that boasts well established, popular and highly recognisable wine brands. His children, the fifth generation of the Tyrrell family, are involved in the family business, illustrating that this iconic Hunter Valley winery will continue to be Australian family owned well into the future.
The staff at cellar door are always friendly, make sure you taste the Vat 47 Chardonnay, it's not cheap but for a special occasion it has to be one of the very best chardonnays available in the Hunter.

Ian specialises in visiting boutique cellar doors. He visits 5 cellar doors throughout the day, selected for their premium wines and friendly service . Their lunch stop is at local cafe or restaurant (at your cost) and you choose from the menu. They visit the famous Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop also the home of gelato, chocolate and fudge. They visit 3 cellar doors in the 1st 1/2 of the day followed by lunch at approximately 1.30pm. After lunch you’ll visit 2 more boutique cellar doors followed by a visit to the Smelly Cheese Shop. They will collect you from Deja Vu Estate in an air conditioned bus so you can enjoy a day in the vines. You’ll visit 3 well chosen vineyards for tastings, then take a break for lunch for an hour at the iconic Potters Brewery or another well chosen eatery. After lunch, it’s off to two more vineyards followed by a stop in at either the renowned Cheese Factory or The Chocolate Company for yummies. They will then return you back to your front door.

They also do transfers to and from: Hunter Restaurants, Weddings & Functions, Newcastle Airport and Hunter Valley Concerts. So if you don’t want to drive give them a call, we promise this is the MOST cost effective way of getting to and from a restaurant.
